The chemistry between Arlo and Greer was through the roof, but at times it felt a lot more like hate than love. What will Mr Turns Me On do? But he’s scared of Greer, and doesn’t quite know how to handle how she makes him feel, and so continues to draw out their chemistry, until one day, Greer strikes him with an ultimatum, all or nothing. Greer starts a hilarious round of pranks, with the help of fellow teachers, and Arlo’s friends, Gunner and Romeo, and Arlo fights back in the only way he knows how, with teasing. As they are in close proximity, sharing a classroom wall, every day, and as Greer is welcomed into their friendship group, so begins this dance of hate, lust and attraction. From the start, he’s been against hiring Greer, first for her teaching way and second, because she actually makes him feel something. Fresh out of college, she’s excited to put her different techniques to the test on her high school students, but Arlo Turner, head of department and resident moody arse has something to say about it. Greer is the new English teacher, and has some less than conventional ways of teaching. She’s written an unputdownable book, one which had me wanting to devour it as fast as possible, but also savour the slow burn relationship between Arlo and Greer. ![]()
